Esporte Clube Cruzeiro

Esporte Clube Cruzeiro, also known as Cruzeiro (or Cruzeiro-RS), is a Brazilian football club based in Cachoeirinha, Rio Grande do Sul state. They won the Campeonato Gaúcho once.
==History==
The club was founded on July 14, 1913. They won the Campeonato Gaúcho in 1929, and the Second Level in 2010. Cruzeiro competed in the Série D in 2011, when the club was eliminated in the First Stage of the competition.
Current Brazilian and Atlético Mineiro midfielder Ronaldinho's dad, João de Assis Moreira who was also a shipyard worker, had a brief spell with the club, he died in 1988 when Ronaldinho was eight after suffering a fatal heart attack in the family swimming pool.
